BT-50 head swap

The BT-50 we purchased at auction was blowing coolant out and not reclaiming it. The cooling system was also staying pressured after the engine had cooled down.

Snake buddie

I found a new friend yesterday. Amy destroyed its home in the long grass so it was making its way to the house. It is a friendly reptile. It tried kissing me a few times and also defecated on me so I feel it makes us as close as can be. I think I’ll name him Blue bellied Black.

My new friend being held captive under a rat trap- the closest item I found to stop him slithering away.

Pyrolytic self-cleaning Webber

I commented on the large amount of smoke outside our kitchen window as my lovely wife was cooking sausages on the Webber BBQ. She said it was just some old marinade burning off the grates. It was that and so much more.

BT-50 Shock absorber install

We purchased a 2007 Mazda BT-50 to tow our caravan. One of the items required for the roadworthy was new shock absorbers so I purchased the cheapest ones I could find on eBay. An issue I found when I received the front ones was they didn’t have top rod covers.

Making Ashoka’s Lekku And Montrals

My daughter wanted to go to book week dressed as Ashoka. Just to clarify for all the Star Wars uninitiated, Lekku are the fleshy ponytails that hang down and
Montrals are the sensory organs that sprout from the top head.

Correct mounting techniques

My wife was complaining about the lack of WiFi reception when she was sitting on her outdoor lounge so I moved the WiFi access point in the shed up higher to give better range.

Lawn mower starting issues

I tried starting my good condition lawnmower I paid $2 for from the tender center 10 years ago and it just wouldn’t fire. I pulled out the spark plug to check for fouling but it looked alright to me.

One of the better condition spark plugs I have seen in my equipment.
