Many years ago (circa 2005) I wanted a way of viewing all our digital photos so I came up with an idea of a digital photo frame. A laptop on the wall.

I was stuck in line for COVID testing so I thought I would pull apart my carcam that was not turning on because of a stuffed internal battery causing to to get stuck in an infinite power cycle loop.

My wife went to the chemist to purchase some items and also bought a couple of fabric masks to be prepared incase we needed them. When she got back to the car she showed our youngest 4yo son who asked who they were for. She replied “for myself and daddy”, to which she got a puzzled look and he said “but it is too small for you, it won’t cover your bottom”

I wanted a smart LED light for my son so he could read in bed at night and I could turn it off remotely. The problem with it was at minimum brightness was still too bright so I want to find a way to make it duller.

Our local Jaycar stockist Allan’s Electronics/ Vidcam closed down last week and were selling off some old stock cheap. I saw a kit called Maximite Computer Kit for $20 and purchased it.

I have been issued a 125kHz RFID smart card for my access to work and was wondering if it could be copied to either my phone or another card

I was given a laptop that had a stuffed CPU cooler fan so I purchased a new one off eBay for $20 and replaced it. Laptop works well as a Minecraft gaming machine for the kids.

I recently purchased a new Dell PC with Windows 10 home which I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro. Since there was an unused OEM license on the PC I thought I might try to use it by having a user remotely login simultaneously while someone was using the computer. The problem I found was that Win 10 only allowed 1 user at a time to be logged into the machine and logged the second user out.

I purchased PowerColor RX5500XT 4GB and 8GB cards to see if I could upgrade the 4GB card to an 8GB card
