I was given a laptop that had a stuffed CPU cooler fan so I purchased a new one off eBay for $20 and replaced it. Laptop works well as a Minecraft gaming machine for the kids.
The only issue I had was the new fan must have been a copy so the housing didn’t match with its mounting plate so I had to leave a screw out.
